Florida Blood Services Blood Bank

Catholic Mobile Medical Services
This group supplements primary health care to migrant farm workers in rural areas of southern and eastern Hillsborough County. Physicians and nurses are needed to assist the director of the program, Sr. Sara Proctor, who is a licensed physician's assistant. There is also a great need for Spanish speaking interpreters, especially those with a medical background. Faith Café
The mission of Faith Cafe is to serve our neighbors in need with dignity and respect as Jesus serves, offering food and referral to other organizations. We serve a lunchtime meal Monday through Saturday in a donated church hall at 3702 W. Kennedy Blvd. Faith Café also has a clothing closet that provides free clothing and toiletries to our guests. The meal is provided by Metropolitan Ministries and donations from our partner churches. The ministry is comprised of six local churches: Christ the King Catholic, Good Shepherd Lutheran, Palma Ceia Presbyterian, Hyde Park Presbyterian, Bayshore Baptist and St. Mary's Episcopal. Pregnancy Plus Medical
The purpose of this program is to help women who are in a crisis pregnancy. Services provided include pregnancy testing, counseling, mentoring, adoption services, neonatal services, community resource information and childbirth education. St. Vincent de Paul Society
The Society is a group dedicated to spreading the Gospel message through acts of charity to those less fortunate. Through generous donations, this group provides financial aid for assistance with basic needs such as rent, food, utilities, and transportation. Most of the assistance is direct aid for one time requests from people in need in our area. Click here for the latest information brochure.
Trinity Café
The mission of Trinity Café is to provide lunch for the homeless and others in need Monday through Friday. Their mission is to serve the food in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. A restaurant quality meal is prepared by a professional chef and served by volunteer hosts. Volunteers are needed from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to serve the meal.
