Mission Statement
 
The parish community of Christ the King believes its mission is to first live and then proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are committed to the nurturing of our spiritual life through the sacraments, prayer, scripture, and the practice of the principles of Biblical Stewardship as our way of life.
 
We invite you to be one of us in our Pilgrim Walk.  We cannot expect to achieve perfection overnight.  However, if we are willing and accept the challenges of this mission and way of life, we will not be disappointed.  The grace of God is with us.

PRAYER FOR LENT
Lord Jesus, send your Holy Spirit upon us this Lent that we might faithfully keep watch with you. As we pray to our Father in a spirit of repentance and thanksgiving, help us to turn to our brothers and sisters in love and service.
 
May this sacred season be a time of mercy, a time for us to forgive others as we have been forgiven by you. Bring all of us who worship you as our Redeemer closer together as we prepare to celebrate your dying and rising. Amen.

SACRAMENT OF THE SICK
 
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick can promote spiritual and physical healing and, therefore, should not be "saved for the last moment of life.” The Anointing of the Sick is given to Catholics who are seriously ill in mind or in body; to those undergoing surgery; those suffering from chronic illnesses or the burden of years. The Sacrament may be repeated after a few months.  If you need anointing, the Sacrament is celebrated at daily Mass on Mondays at 8:30 a.m. and Fridays at 12:10 p.m.
