Mission Statement
The parish community of Christ the King believes its mission is to first live and then proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are committed to the nurturing of our spiritual life through the sacraments, prayer, scripture, and the practice of the principles of Biblical Stewardship as our way of life.
We invite you to be one of us in our Pilgrim Walk. We cannot expect to achieve perfection overnight. However, if we are willing and accept the challenges of this mission and way of life, we will not be disappointed. The grace of God is with us.

FEATURED THIS WEEK
OUR WEEKLY BULLETINS
Pentecost Sunday
Ascension of Our Lord
PENTECOST
Thoughts on the Feast Day
Jesus is Lord! This is the message of Pentecost. The task of the Holy Spirit and the vocation of the Church are to proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ. The Spirit does not proclaim Himself. He proclaims Jesus. The Spirit does not reveal new doctrine; He ever widens and deepens our knowledge of Jesus. The Spirit does not merely show us things to come – He points to Jesus who will come to judge the living and the dead.
The gifts and powers of the Holy Spirit are expressed in many ways: enthusiasm, courage, faith, knowledge. Yet the Spirit dwells in the lives of the sick, the sad and the lost. He is in the hearts of lay people and clergy, of a Bishop as well as a dishwasher. The Holy Spirit dwells in the mind of a college professor and a retarded child. He guides the hands of surgeons as well as those who change diapers. The Holy Spirit is no respecter of person, place or station, race, sex or opinion. He is always around – ready, waiting, willing to rush in, cleanse with fire and enthrone Jesus. He never tires. He is here for the duration, until the end of time, to lead us to acclaim that Jesus is Lord!
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful and
kindle in them the fire of Your Love!
God love you,

Campaign Prayer
Loving God, may gratitude be at the source of all of our prayers of praise and adoration, of petition and thanksgiving. We are grateful for the many gifts you have given us: The gifts of life and love, our families and friends, our faith and parish.
Thank you for all those who have so generously given of themselves throughout the years in the establishment and growth of Christ the King Catholic Church. Through the gift of your grace, their sacrifices and hard work have made it possible for us to continue the mission of Jesus Christ in our community and world today.
We ask your blessing on our efforts now in The Future of Our Faith capital campaign. May the Gospel message of life, love, salvation, peace and justice always be the cornerstone of our parish at Christ the King Catholic Church. Amen.
By Reverend Michael Muhr

Be Generous As God Is Generous!
Our Lord Jesus Christ calls on each of us to be generous in thought, word, and deed. God teaches us that in the measure we give, we also receive. We need every family to make a commitment to this year’s Annual Pastoral Appeal.
